Absolutely has to be Morin. Patrick comes off as being entitled to being good and not questioned.
That may not be the case but his smirks and attitude during press availability came across that way.
Morin just has trash knees. |

According to some any decision made will be incorrect. The clear answer and path is evident. |

Trotz system is predicated on a lot of beef and foot speed to retrieve dump ins... as we've seen the Flyers personnel falls way short there.
I'd rather they not try to copy anything other coaches/teams are doing -- Flyers have been guilty of doing that for decades with little to no results.
Find a coach who is willing to tailor a system to the personnel at hand... they're not gonna be able to get rid of every player off this roster, so they're just gonna have to use them better. - Tomahawk
As stated before. This team will need to win 1-0, 2-1 games. For this year I’d bring guy Boucher in to implement the 1-3-1 and bring in a good power play mind to help, and hope for the best

I don't want Torts to coach this team, but just once I want Fletcher to pay him to address the team mid game just like this!

He says everything I would want to say to this team right now! - jd250
Classic. His interactions with the media are even better. He won't get picked because he would say the same things to the wardens of our little camp. They would definitely not be used to that kind of feedback. |

torts would be great for this team because he would destroy the safe space that has been created by our captain |

I don't believe there is a system that can win with the current personnel on the Flyers; more skill and foot speed is needed on this team, so I think its combination of augmenting this team with more talent and getting a coach that can teach them how to play with and without the puck. |

I'm just looking forward to how the organization decides to proceed. To see if they have the fortitude to admit that they were wrong and correct. |

Of course he is doing well, he is away from the Flyers and now magically healthy! I swear you can't make this up .... |

Me too, however you and I have a different opinion of what the Flyers need to admit they got wrong and what to do next. I think the players Fletcher brought in this off season were good players and would help this team, but the realization has to be that this core group is not good enough and Fletcher thus needs to get rid of some more vets and replace with younger, more skilled and faster players. |

Personally, I feel far more for NP. His comparables (in terms of draft position) are so public, and they all have ~$50m contracts.
What happened to the JVR you were describing early this season as the 200 foot team player who has changed his game and now provides glorious asssists? That guy seems to have gone, and so has the old JVR the sniper... |

So he brought in vets last year and now he needs to get rid of some vets. Makes sense. Change the culture again? Last year you were sick and tired of waiting and draft picks take too long to make the team. Now you say they need to get younger, faster and add more skill. Can't make it up. |

Then Morin, cause Patrick's agent was somehow able to get Vegas to give him a two year deal at $1.2m AAV.
