Interesting situation in Dallas is about to play out:

G Ben Bishop is healed and about to begin a 3 game conditioning stint in the AHL to come off LTIR. When he does in just over a week, the Stars will have FOUR NHL goalies and be OVER the salary cap.

They literally have to shed over $4 million in cap space immediately.

Pavelski earns $7 million and Holtby earns $2 million ---- both should interest the Rangers and to become cap compliant, Dallas doesn't have much leverage to demand much in return.

This definitely bears watching....

As long as Dallas is in the hunt for a playoff spot I doubt they will trade Pavelski and he has a NTC

Tell me what it would take to pry Patrick Kane out of Chicago right now. You think they would do

Kravtsov
Chytil
Nils Lundqvist
1st round pick 2022

Trading for Kane will make it very hard to sign our RFAs and Strome.

Ultimately, it will likely cost us a 1st round pick and a high prospect.

Im very much for this trade. This would def a huge TDL playoff trade. The next move after that would have to be upgrading 3C and I think we are set.

No holiday miracles to bring you two together while the Rangers spread cheer for all of us, eh?

Per ESPN, NHL saying the Sabres tying goal should not have been overturned.

Seemed clearly offsides to me.

OK , so look at their roster and tell me how they shed $4+ million to get Bishop off LTIR before Christmas roster freeze?

I got a feeling that anytime Drury talks trade with any other GM the name Brennan Othmann comes up within the first 10 seconds these days
