Dayal does a lot of analytics but Shah is just a reporter?

I see on his twitter that Shah has a thank you letter from Chris Gear. Which in it he states that his main responsibility was to sign RFA's.

Also throws some heavy shade at FA or JR to other staff saying "My heartfelt good luck"

Dayal writes for The Athletic, and does radio/tv/podcast appearances. Yes, he uses a lot of data in his opinions, is generally pretty fair in his assessments/writing. For example, he might not look favorably on many of Benning’s transactions, but he would sound reasoned being critical, whereas someone like Daniel Wagner (Pass it to Bulis) would be more harsh, with comedy being his goal.

Satiar Shah works for the rights holder SN650, and therefore needs to sound more pro-Canucks, even when things aren’t going well. He does a pretty good job however of not coming off as a homer. He also likes to quote different metrics for performance, but he’s more of a host than an analyst.

I don't think I slammed Hughes at all, in that comment, as a matter of fact I said having 3 good defensemen, once OEL comes back, is a good thing..

Also, I have only watched 3-4 games this season, so I can't really say how anyone is doing, other than going off of what I read on the net.
I obviously throw out the opinions of the guzzlers and the haters, sometimes the non-comments from the guzzlers and haters also tells me that a certain player has played a good game.

Through the pages I've looked at, whitelie and lefty were the only ones that were really happy with the Hughes pick immediately.

Last couple of games, system is really simplified for the D. A lot of chip off the wall but usually a high man who presses the other teams defenders. Asking a lot less of the D than Green's system that had them beat the press by themselves and then pass it from the goal line through a minefield of players to the other teams blue line where all the Canucks forwards were waiting.

Individual player performance really isn’t that difference than with Travis behind the bench. It feels like the players are a little more engaged, happy about being in the game. All the uncertainty I’m sure had an effect. I’m sure they’re happy to move forward. At the end of the day however, the team is still not good enough, it’s going to take a little more time.

I’m happy. The only thing in this draft that horrified me was boqvist. I truly believe he never makes The NHL. Hughes is twice the prospect. On a side note, Chicago just wasted a pick and that’s great 😍😍
