“I have compiled a list of 40 people and put them in categories of potential GMs.”

1 category is guys that have already been GMs, 1 is AGMs or entry-level GMs that he can mentor.

“I have one AGM I’d like to bring in this week, I’m just waiting to see if that’s possible.

Hmmm, seems to be a few in here with a prejudice against older men.

And before someone becomes offended, yes I know it is a joke.

If you are older than a millennial, then anything you say or believe is antiquated and irrelevant. We just listen to dinosaur rock and yell at the world.

Is this statement not true though?

The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis have both entered the COVID protocol. Though the team did not confirm whether or not they have tested positive, both players–plus a member of the training staff–will be remaining in Vancouver as the team travels to Minnesota, suggesting they have.

Played last night vs the Canucks. That's not good.

You people and your fucking Christmas, regular business at the post office shouldn't take over an hr.

Smart move, I've missed my free access...
- Makita

Sorry 'bout that. So many nights i'm at work from 2300-0200. It hasn't been worth recording. Also, my schedule is changing.

I was just there mailing 16 Christmas cards back to friends and family in Canada, lineup was out the door when I first got there but made it to the counter in less than ten minutes...very efficient.

No prejudice, just calling it as I see it

I have packages on the way from Ontario and Alberta that were supposed to get here weeks ago, these Canada Post strikes are awful

US postal service?

Dude, watch 4 hours of Kevin Costner and you'll realize why they're far superior to Canada Post.

Maybe they're in Sooke because they're stacked to the ceiling out here.

Yes...the USPS. Place was packed but I needed to send the cards so I just hung in there and it moved along very efficiently.

See how long it lasts without an owner meddling.

FA never been too bothered by spending to the cap, it's the front office he's always been cheap in.

Why would one need to go to post office for that? Buy stamps at the corner store then throw the cards in the nearest mailbox.

Because I needed stamps, international stamps, and there’s no “corner store” around here. Not to mention the post office is only three blocks away from me.

Thought from the minute it was reported that Schmidt wanted out of van that he mainly wanted to get away from Green and Baumer.

In a few years Green will re-surface just like Eakins did to guide a predicted bottom feeder like ANA to the the division lead...seems to be the way of things lol

Every negative experience in life usually presents a learning opportunity. If he’s smart enough to reflect back on this in a few months (which I’m sure he is) I’m sure he’ll come back as a better coach. Life experience brings knowledge.

True this. The first 4 games, if he caught any of them, would have taught him some valuable lessons.

I was thinking this last night. If he's watching, he has to realize how narrow minded he's been. Bruce splits up Horvat and Pearson right away and both lines they are on now are doing really well. Players he had pigeon holed are having success on the PK which has improved.

Eakins had coaching experience before he got to the Ducks with TML and Oilers.

Ducks are glad Benning saved them from signing Green most likely.
