Yes & No.

Yes I prefer proven experience but hard to find it.
No cuz experience from say the AHL etc doesn’t always translate.

Coaching is mostly communication skills that allows teaching to sink in. ExNHL D men have a wealth of knowledge to pass on.

Smoking is the one that goes first. I quit when I couldn't buy a case of Kokanee, a pack of smokes and a bag of nacho cheese Doritos for $20. Something had to go and the $5 a pack smokes were it. I couldn't imagine paying the cost is to smoke now days

I don't go buy alcohol very often but the wife likes her wine, so most of the time she will pick me up some beer. She usually picks up a few bottles, it takes her months to drink them.

I will drink all the beer she gets me in a night.

I will probably have the occasional beer eventually. I haven't been an overly heavy drinker for a while. Same with weed, I can go weeks. It's the tobacco that I need to be done with for good. 3 weeks so far. Went to a friend's birthday party last night and had a much easier time than I expected.

Was talking to a co-worker the other day who said he did all his Christmas booze shopping when we were working in Alberta a month ago. He took back like $500 worth of booze. He said it's gone already. 7-24's of bud and a whole lot of other stuff.
