As much as I like Sanheim joining the rush more and more, that New Jersey goal was on Sanheim there. First instead of skating the puck out of the zone he tries to jam the puck to a covered JVR at the blue line for the first turnover. Sanheim gets it back and then sends a bad pass to Risto on the other side, which gets intercepted and the puck ends up in the back of the Flyers net. This all happens because Sanheim just does not want to skate that puck out himself. I notice the Flyers D do this a lot, they try to jam pucks to up the boards to covered forwards instead of taking some ice and doing more themselves.

I have mentioned this very point a few times recently. Sanheim does have good skills, but I believe that he’s afraid to take a hit so he hurries his passes often.

I think another pick like a 2nd or 3rd should be included

If he’s moved the return will spend on a few factors…1) will he agree to go here? 2) how man teams are interested? 3) will Flyers retain $ to get more teams involved….of course we are under assumption this seasons a write off…I’m not there in mid December

Someone said something ridiculous to me this season about both Atkinson and Brassard. There was this dumb argument that Laughton is far and away better than Brassard. I made the point that Brassard is easily the better offensive player over Laughton but what Laughton brings defensively washes each other out. With this said Brassard was setting up Atkinson real nice. This bozo tells me nothing Brassard did matter, Atkinson just goes to the net. So I guess nothing G or Ristolainen has done for Atkinson tonight matters as well. He’s just doing it alone.
