The hardest substances I was using in the early 80s was fruit rollups and strawberry chocolate milk.

Looking forward to be able to watch a new improved Canucks team.
Hearing Bo was instrumental in the victory and the top 3 defensemen, with Myers leading the charge, were excellent.

Nesquick powder. Chocolate, strawberry and the very underrated banana.

The banana was awesome. I will die on that hill!

Banana just might be the most disgusting artificial flavour of them all. Can’t imagine anyone liked anything banana flavoured.

You hear correctly. They laid a dud in the 1st then recovered thanks to those guys and Garland.

IIRC, you and I might have been the only ones that approved of that pick.

But I also wanted Virtanen

Wonder what he would be like if his coach wasn't a player killer?

I really would like to know if Green was ever Benning's choice of coach.

If Canucks had a better trading GM players like Virtanen and McCann and Juolevi probably would have fetched better returns.

You know you opened a can of worms. I can't say I remember back that far but it does go.

Getting a flashback of that banana flavoured kids medicine (just looked it up it was Amoxicillin).

So good.

Canucks were super soft back then so I wanted the guy who was known for hitting in Jr. When he came here and said I don't want to be a hitter I want to be a top 6 guy ,it went downhill from there.

FA seems like a name brand kind of guy. The two coaches that we know he's hired have been big name guys

I don't see him ever advocating for a first year guy and then wanting him to return. If anything, I would think he had to be talked into TG coming back.

That's my thinking as well. Benning had a man-crush on Green.
