Poolman pulled from game for covid

12 players from Calgary and Boston game got covid (original super spread game). Calgary plays Carolina and 7 players on the hurricanes now have covid. Hurricanes play the canucks and now canucks have 3 players.

Big for NHL to play around the holidays. Holiday break is only 9 days away though. 5 games the Canucks will miss can easily be made up during the olympic break.

Meh, world juniors is around the corner.

Vancouver, Calgary, New Jersey, Carolina, Boston, Edmonton, Colorado, LA, Florida, Montreal, Nashville NYI, Seattle, STL, WSH

All these teams have active covid19 cases. Could get a ton worse before it gets better, especially with how many players went on covid list in the last 48 hours.

I would have thought they would have learned with the Carolina covid cases after playing Calgary but I guess not. With the two canuck cases this morning, they 100% never should have gone ahead with this game IMO. Even with hunt right before the game, and poolman during the first, they should just postpone it.

I would have thought they would have learned with the Carolina covid cases after playing Calgary but I guess not. With the two canuck cases this morning, they 100% never should have gone ahead with this game IMO. Even with hunt right before the game, and poolman during the first, they should just postpone it.

This too. Any player who tests positive in a visiting city had to quarantine for 10 days as per NHL protocols. Would suck for a lot of these players to spend Xmas in a hotel room while their families are at home.
