favorable schedule coming up for the rest of the month and not to bad in Jan. There is however some real test game between now and Jan 15, that is my date I believe. if the Flyers win against who they should and win 70-80% of the tough games, I wait a little longer before I go into rebuild. If they can't win the games they should and they can't compete against the better teams, don't fool yourself.

They play Pitt twice, Caps, Bruins, Rangers, Boston and Carolina all by Jan 15.

If they are healthy and show out during that stretch, they deserve more time.

side note- I do think some in the metro have their harder part of their schedule coming, took a quick look but it felt that way.

Saying that the team misses Jake is not the same as saying Jake > Atkinson.

Cam and Jake are two offensive-first players, one who shoots first and is good on the PK, the other who is an elite passer and puck carrier who makes plays at ES and is good on the PP.

The team really needed BOTH skill sets, but they ended up swapping one for the other and now they're still left missing a necessary ingredient.

That's the gripe that "Jake lovers" have with the trade. Not that Cam Atkinson is a pile of poop.

You need to look at who Risto was on the ice with when not with Sanheim, I think that will give you the answer. Stats NEVER tell the entire story!
