I haven’t had a conversation with MJL in literal years. He won’t respond to my posts under any circumstances. What’s so hard to understand about this?
You’re doing all the tough talking and name calling. You laid out the challenge. If you’re so sure you just “chimed in”, which you never leave anything at one post, by all means, present that evidence. If you won’t and are unsure of yourself, I’ll do it myself as soon as I have the free time. - SuperSchennBros

Good afternoon,
I have no interest in contesting any ban or getting involved in any disputes in the realm of the personal. In the list of the top 100 things of my life, participation here would rank 501st. My apologies for the "shtick", and that you did not find it amusing. I tried, but I was really hoping to provoke a public encounter such as this with the administrators of this site.
Now, since you truly have my attention in the middle of a very busy day, would you please read this very carefully, and bring it to the attention of the people who exercise authority of the running of this site, and while this post might be deleted, I will be taking a screenshot of it, and it will stand as testament to an uncontestable message.
This site is filled with people posting certain opinions about Covid. I will be as charitable as I can with what I term such "opinions", so let me simply say that these opinions have no scientific, institutional or (with the recent FDA approvals), legal basis in fact. There are multiple such posts on this thread even today. No other site that I know of allows this.
I wish I could call such a social media policy insignificant, even in an infrequently visited, lighthearted site such as this. I wish I could just adopt a laissez faire approach to it. Unfortunately, considerable evidence exists that it is not, and one shouldn't.
The moderators, such as you, who police the petty fights and name-calling allow many such posts to stand. I do understand that you cannot and possibly should not weed out every violation of rule and reason or personal opinion, but I have carefully garnered at least 20 such incidents over the past 6 months that have stood for weeks with the poster continuing to post daily since. This is in spite of the fact that you do not actually have to take a stand, if you don't want to, about the accuracy of the opinions or about freedom of speech. You can simply invoke the COC, and the irrelevance to Hockey.
Let me now direct you to your Terms of Use. I specifically direct your attention to two key phrasings, which I am highlighting below (circled). Your definition of "Contents", and use of the phrase "Reasonable Efforts."
Please note your definition of "Contents" of the site is not restricted in your own language to the output of bloggers and moderators and so on. It may thus be used to imply all content that is publicly available, including all posts made here, certainly all that persists for days and weeks. Please also note that the examples I refer to here provide, at least prima facie, evidence that you are in fact NOT engaging in reasonable efforts to maintain the accuracy you promise in the Terms of Use.
I specifically shelled out for a subscription this summer with the very real possibility of this moment in mind. We now have a contract, implicit or otherwise. My purpose in seeking legal redress or bringing violations of this contract to the attention of appropriate consumer commerce regulating bodies would not be to recoup the insignificant subscription fees or be a jerk. It would be to use that avenue as a way to bring publicity to the way you moderate it, specifically with regards to the greatest public health emergency in a century. If your approach is that you have done nothing wrong, then well, surely you will embrace this publicity.
My truly sincerest apology for this heavy handed message. Considerable thought and exasperation precede it. I have been a member of this community for almost 14 years now, and was probably barely noticed before the pandemic. As an aside, my original ban was received because of admittedly intemperate language in a Covid discussion, where I was frankly filling in for what should have been your job to do. Not only do you have a haphazard attitude towards "accuracy," you actually punish the people who step into this gap if they breach standards of your decorum.

Not sure why folks are so hard on the guy, he’s knowledgeable, very argumentative at times and with specific guys but for the most part adds to the conversation.

I think Hockey buzz is in the top3 in your life. Look at the timeline when you post. Hour after hour. You check in constantly. Also, it’s your fault you got banned. Man up
