That was probably one or two teammates since we are on the side of speculation it seems. Not like the media has ever exaggerated something before. And no he can flash his money around all he wants I don't really care as long as he shows up and produces. I think we can look past the fact a couple teammates had their feelings hurt by him. D'angelo has been proven to be racist sob. But you don't hear an our Cry to kick him out of the league like you do with Kane. If teams can look past that problem they can look past kanes gambling issues. In fact maybe help the guy out since it's more of a mental disorder.

not saying I like his personality I think with Talent being humble is always the way to go. But everyone's different and I've come to realize I can't fault somebody for that. I don't care for his showboating but it's not going to Blind me from how good of a player he is. I think the guy just needs a proper Mentor for his personality. I honestly think the way the Leafs are run and how they do things nowadays fits perfectly with Kane. Not to mention they need cheap talented players to play on the top lines. I think take a risk on him ignore the show boating and he'll be fine on most teams. He just strikes me as a player in desperate need of strong leadership.

At 30 years old how much is anyone to grow? He has a place in the nhl at some point. But a mentor at his age? The show boating for less of players has ruined their careers. (Yakupov ha ha).

How in the heck would the Leafs be able to afford his contract with Matthews, Marner, Tavares, and Nylander accounting for over half of the salary cap?
