This is already the case Codes. Proof of vaccine and government issued photo ID and masked up in public spaces. The table is your personal bubble - though I think it’s a stupid rule, as four people at a table laughing and talking is far more likely to project virus than someone walking to the washroom on their own…

I'm so behind. I havent been to a sit down restaurant in forever. Too hard with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Generally just get takeout. I like the idea of scanning the QR code moving forward. Lots of tears will be incoming on that.

I can’t see Aquilini going from two executives up to ten, he’s too cheap for that. If they’ve got the right support systems in place I could see them hiring her for sure.

Call me optimistic but I think Rutherford took the job on the condition that he'd have autonomy to rebuild the front office the way he wants.

I'm envisioning a larger front office staff with multiple AGMs.

This has me excited because this is exactly what the organization needs.

However, doesn't it seem like Rutherford is acting like the GM when he should be searching for that person? He's gonna a pull a D!ck Cheney who was in charge of vetting potential candidates and recommending a VP choice to GWB. He's gonna say, 'after a long and exhaustive search, the best candidate is me.'

That may be true but that also doesn’t make it right to not hire old white guys if they are the best candidates. Hire a women in a similar capacity to the Sedins. Let them learn and earn a promotion.

I’m not against his hiring to the position, in fact, it’s just what I think they should do. Hire people with a high level of expertise in specific areas to oversee those departments.

All signs pointing to a great Christmas!

By the sounds of things, they are going to have 4 or 5 AGM's, I don't think having a person with minimal front office experience will be a problem, especially if the others are experienced and the other one is a sharp-minded individual.
Although the position might say AGM, the role could be similar to a Director of______, position.
I personally want to see the Canucks hire the sharpest available minds, which I believe Jennifer Botterill is.
