Also that shootout was as predictable as anything. If you study any tape you know Mika does the same move backhand to forehand and Strome did the carbon copy move through the five hole that he did against the devils.

He just isn’t that good. Nothing about his game excites you. He doesn’t forecheck, very rarely do I see him go into the dirty areas and win the puck, doesn’t understand his assignments defensively and makes constant poor reads. He’s a liability out there. Third line center is also probably the biggest hole on the team. Next is top 6 winger and stable 3rd pair defense. Chytl should he traded as he isn’t a 3c or a top 6 winger

It was brought up before about Vegas needing to shed some salary for the return of Jack Eichel. Obviously Reilly Smith is the hot topic here for the Rangers but thats probably not enough cap relief to get Eichel in. Im thinking, what if we go for Smith and McNabb?
