It was brought up before about Vegas needing to shed some salary for the return of Jack Eichel. Obviously Reilly Smith is the hot topic here for the Rangers but thats probably not enough cap relief to get Eichel in. Im thinking, what if we go for Smith and McNabb?

What are you willing to trade for them?

Well, theres something to consider here. Of the teams who are in the hunt for the playoffs only 3 of them arent sitting right up against the max. On the flip side, what works against us is neither Smith or McNabb have trade clauses.

Theyre obviously not going to want to take much salary back, if at all. Id offer Libor Hajek, maybe a mid-level prospect and 2023 2nd round pick? This could be a good one to maybe trade Kravtsov? Although Id like a bit more than a rental if were trading Krav.

NFL has changed their protocol.

Unvaccinated players will be tested everyday. Otherwise, only symptomatic players will be tested.

They apparently decided if your asymptomatic you're good to go. I believe I understood it correctly.

Bottom line, less testing.

Daily seems extreme, twice weekly makes sense. Same should be for vaxed players since they aren't immune.

I would have been happy with any of the last three but do believe they might the best choice in hiring Buck. How well he plays with the analytics department should be interesting to see.

I don't think he will play with the analytics department, that's why he will be GREAT!
