Carol Schram: Canucks' weekend games vs. Maple Leafs and Coyotes postponed
The B.C. government gave the green light for full-capacity Canucks games this weekend, but the NHL elected to postpone Saturday's contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Sunday's game against the Arizona Coyotes following additional positive test results for both Vancouver and Toronto over the last few days. |

Thanks Carol.
They should shut down the league for 2 weeks. Let all players get healthy and then start up again. Get rid of the 5 day All Star break to make up some of that time. |

Thanks Carol
I agree with Retinalz, the league needs some form of a reset to get this under control. |

Thanks Carol. Do you think the players won’t get Covid if they aren’t playing hockey? I’d argue they are far more likely to get Covid when they have more time to socialize. most people will get it and be ok. Hopefully they play the game on Thursday. I now know of 7 people that have it and none have symptoms worse than a cold |

Thanks Carol, hopefully new Jim starts negotiations with Miller as soon as they are able (July 1st?). It would be uncomfortable to go into his final season of this contract with uncertainty as to his future with the club. |

If what Dailey said the other day is true, it’s community spread that’s the greatest cause right now. As much as team dinners on the road are a great bonding experience, teams should be more strict with their daily conduct. Do your dinners at the hotel in a private room. When at home, keep to your family and the rink. |

It’s everywhere right now. I’ve been in close contact with three people with Covid in the last 2 days. Stay home if you have health issues |

Yes, how the heck do you avoid the dang thing, really. It's almost a miracle if you haven't contracted it since it's arrival in 2019. Seriously, I'm getting really tired of this crap. |

I’m not trying to avoid it. People need to get back to living their lives. If it takes me out so be it. I’m a betting man and I won’t bet on omnicron |

If he agrees to less than 8.5% cap hit for 6 years or less. Otherwise, you trade him. |

A good poll question, Miller or Bo. Or Boeser I guess. I’d imagine Boeser would finish last but it would be a toss up between miller and Bo |

Yup.
Go out or don’t go out, but follow the guidelines if you do go out. Business are following the rules that are set for them, they aren’t making the rules. The government hasn’t done a very good job of communicating to the public re proof of vaccine codes. Not everyone has a cell phone, and several that do have no idea how to use them. We get printed QR codes that are photos of a computer screen and the resolution isn’t good enough to scan. We get pictures of peoples drivers license (this isn’t ID), we get dead phones that we have to charge so they can check in, we get people spending 10 minutes scrolling through thousands of photos looking for their code while lines of people build behind them. Add in US travelers who have QR codes that don’t scan here (Federal government created the ArriveCan app but it’s useless to us)
Government needs some smart, non politicians in their ranks. |

It’s going to be in the $7+ range I guess. Until he’s 35… what is he now 28-29? |

Keep them all. None are actual stars so they don't have to be paid in the 10s. Give them all 6-7-8 million a season, draft well and have a conveyor belt of good ELC keep coming and be fine. |

The league announced they are going back to the stricter day to day rules from last season, have to assume that means less socialization, etc. |
