Our kid is 17, syrup isn’t an issue. The real stuff is also good for making cocktails, in place of simple syrup. Maple Old Fashioned with walnut bitters!

I save the real stuff for cooking. Salmon and other things to make it sweet so the kids will eat it. Never used it in a drink. Not much of a cocktail guy.

The government hasn’t done a very good job of communicating to the public re proof of vaccine codes. Not everyone has a cell phone, and several that do have no idea how to use them. We get printed QR codes that are photos of a computer screen and the resolution isn’t good enough to scan. We get pictures of peoples drivers license (this isn’t ID), we get dead phones that we have to charge so they can check in, we get people spending 10 minutes scrolling through thousands of photos looking for their code while lines of people build behind them. Add in US travelers who have QR codes that don’t scan here (Federal government created the ArriveCan app but it’s useless to us)

I started watching a national geographic show from Paris to Pittsburgh.



They signed that global climate action whatever and after, Trump tweeted something about how he needs to stand up for the USA people in Pittsburgh and say they aren't going to do it.

People in Pittsburgh were pretty much "are you (frank)ing kidding, we are 100% behind this climate thing"

Canucks sign Sautner in time for depth and Abby sign Darren Brady to PTO. Depth is very thin with injuries and Covid. I like Sautner . He is reliable and experienced. His problem in the past has been injuries.

Was back reading about signing JTM. He has stepped up since Green was canned and Brock also . Where was Boeser for the first 24 games though? Looks like he finally found his line mates but it is only 6 games .

I still would wait and see on Bo Brock and Miller before handing out big money. They are all sitting around 10 goals which is okay but not great Garland is around there also and makes less than 5 mil.

For me it is wait and see how the rest of the year goes. Even under the new coach Petey sits at 5 goals. That is bloody awful . Now a third liner and removed from the top PP. Seven mil well spent

I was gonna say the same thing. He didn’t have a great start this year but he lead the team in scoring last year and he’s had three 20+ goal seasons out of four.
