What's one the record players tonight for you and your daughter?
Skid Row remastered box set here lol it's actually really well done...

Your thinking is very narrow minded, no disrespect, it’s not about what his contract is worth at this very moment. It’s about what it’s worth over the life of the contract. Everyone knew he was in a struggle because of his contract holdout, he’ll be worth it over the three years of the deal. At least in my opinion. - LeftCoaster
Is his opinion narrow-minded, or is your opinion very close-minded, because you have blinders on?
Using the holdout as a built in excuse is like me saying Hughes is only playing well because he held out this off-season.
Both Hughes and Pouty held-out, yet only Pouty is struggling, tells most that he might not be the player that you were expecting him to be.

Like the fans who forgive Boesers sh1tty performance for 24 games and are on cloud nine because he has 5 goals in 6 games/

Must be some type of anomaly, Brady Tkachuk has 22 points in 24 games in a season in which he held out. |

Those guys are living the dream right now. Myers was not worth 6M for 200 games and now is an all-star.

Exactly, if he struggled for 5-6 games or so, but at least started to produce in line with his mean scoring average, sure that would make sense. The fact is, he hasn't produced anywhere near his mean average for over 20+ games now, that's not struggling due to missed training camp. It makes one wonder if his wrist was damaged more than what they said it was and if it's fully healed yet. You can also wonder if all the injuries has made him too scared to really play the way he has in his rookie/sophmore year. It's why I've advocated doing all you can to get Bedard next year and make Petey his winger. |

It wasn’t a foregone conclusion, however, given past history it was a good guess. Obviously doesn’t apply across the board. |

Imo Petey overthinks almost everything. 1st off a stick change it reminds of a golfer who blames his clubs. Fixing what isn’t broken is not the way to go it is better to focus on perfecting skills that need work & is about the details. Players have to rely on their natural skills & instincts & coaching. Work ethic & determination on the ice will always be a staple of a good to great player. Attention to details. Skill then has the chance to shine. In times of adversity it’s the old cliche WORK your way through it. In the case of Boeser it’s feast & famine being mostly 1 dimensional. A water bug like Garland has a bigger tool kit to be effective. Miller the same. Petey should note that. Boeser should understand his role. Neither suffer from confidence issues if they know what they are. It’s psychosomatic imo. |

Look at a player like Crosby.
Since he signed his 8.7M 12 year contract.
Has scored between 1.06 to 1.30 PPG during those years. No deviation any year, obviously. Probably should have been traded many times for not performing.
Matthews started this year 7 goals in 17 games. I don't know why TML didn't trade him as well. Wasn't worth his contract at all over those 17 games. He might have 20 goals in 27 games now but that doesn't matter.

Pouty is playing a lot better under Bruce. I think the struggles of the team were largely due to Green and Baumer being trash. |

How many times was Crosby playing third line ? How often was he pulled off the PP because he sucked?

Why would anyone complain about a defenseman that can play 25+ minutes a game against top players? - Reubenkincade
Edler did that for a decade and all people did was complain, it’s in our nature. I don’t mind OEL as a player, I hate the trade, and I’m not confident he’ll be able to provide value as that contract ages. For now though, no complaints on his performance. |

Patience, we are in a major transition period away from bad things. We’re not winning the Cup this year, lots of positives happening!! Give him time. |

I actually just got done realigning my cart. Radiohead OK Computer and Maiden NOTB to check the Baerwald alignment. Tried Stevenson last night but too much distortion, shrill highs. Much better now. |

Petey struggled all by himself & nobody else is to blame. He didn’t take the next step & obvious he wasn’t prepared this season. |

I haven't watched the last 1000 Pens games, so I probably couldn't tell you what happened game by game 10 years ago.
I see that Crosby only played 14 minutes one night earlier this season. That's not first line minutes. That's more like 3rd line minutes. |
