Theyre better off just cancelling games for the week through the Christmas break. - aecliptic
Honestly could be a blessing for the Rangers. Let Panarin & Igor just get healed up and be ready to go after the break. Plus they have been playing a heavy amount of games lately.

What i have been saying for a week, especially lately. Why are they messing around. Just pause for now rather than trying to cram these in - airjan23
Listening to the NHL channel and it sounds like the league wants to play whatever games they can, its rescheduling that is the problem, the problem would be building availability going forward.

Id say they are idiots for not accounting for any kind of COVID issues when planning this season. They should have left a week in the schedule blank for teams to make up games.

You know what, I just emailed Gary and told him Aecliptic from Hockeybuzz called him an idiot for not thinking this covid season thru. He said he will PM you soon.

Never in a million years did I ever think I would say these words.
This shutdown is blantly unfair to the Islanders, who endured a terrible COVID surge, having to field a minor league team.
Especially, when the Rangers have one player who no wants playing anyway in the protocol to my knowledge. Only to be cancelled because of border crossing mandates by O Canada.
The NHL is going to have a much larger issue on its hands should the virus and uts variants stay with us, and I believe it will.
The Canadian government panics. It may come to a point where Canada restricts border crissing to the point where playing a normal NHL schedule will become prohibitive.
The day could come when the NHL may have reinvent itself due to geographic limitations.
We now return to more doom and gloom programming.😂

Covid isnt going away anytime time soon. This is the new norm now.
You have a lot of passion for the Rangers and hockey and I give you so much credit for showing patience arguing with a douchebag who trolls his own team. The guy is a total penis and you are wasting your time trying to explain even the most rudimentary things to him. Its a no win- just better off ignoring than educating. You cant fix dumb.

Rangers 2021 3rd round pick, center Ryder Korczak with 36 points in 31 games for Moose Jaw
he's 58% on faceoffs
5th overall in WHL in total points

Nice!! Especially considering he’s one of like 3 center prospects in the system. Had solid stats the previous 2 seasons too. Just noticed he was an alternate captain in the previous 2 and no longer listed as one. That’s a bit odd.
