Agree. And it did. Tuch is outstanding IMO, Krebs hasn't developed but might become a great 2C to Cozens 1C, and the picks, while not high, will still get the Sabres a decent prospect or two (or a chit in another trade).

Beyond trade protection. Hes better than all the guys you named. Hutton is simply a depth guy. whitecloud is a RD. Theo is there #1 LD. It would be insane to trade him. Its not impossible obviously.

He's playing LD right know because Martinez is hurt, he was playing RD behind Pieterangelo in the beginning.

I agree, just don't understand why Friedman brought it up and why people are ridiculing the Sabres for that ask. And the Ducks were not in line with what Jack wanted surgery wise, so it kinda made any deal hard.

My my how good did McTavish look last night... In tight he was a monster... Owen looked smooth as well .. his skating is so nice..
