I forgot to PS you that "Verurca" is my mind's representation of all the Giroux haters in the Flyers blog. Whether realistic or not, in the view of a few, he's become the scapegoat for all of the flyers woes over the last ten-ish seasons. (I happen to think its a product of the team built around him over the Hextall and Fletcher tenures.)
There are a few posters who almost every day want the C stripped from him.
And a few want him gone, even before this season (never mind he has a NMC under his current contract, which ends after this season).
There is a larger crowd who's now hoping he'll waive his NMC to go to a prospective contender. Some hope it comes with a handshake deal that he'll come back in free agency next season and eventually retire as a Flyer.

I don't mind their opinion, but come back to the blogs to post the very same thing day-after-day gets tedious (and ponderous).
I mean, I won't judge whether it's a waste of their time (since almost all of us do that here, for all intents and purposes), but I would rather be doing something else than doing what they're doing.
