Just watched this the other day haha. Ann Margret and Elvis Presley were great on screen together. Sorry for the extremely late response to this post. Ann Margret…what a beauty.
Merry belated Christmas everyone! Hope you’re all well and healthy heading into the new year.

best Elvis movie imo. bigger budget, musical numbers are better, the director had just worked on West Side Story. Colonel Parker did cut on the budget after that for the following movies. and yes Ann-Margaret was perfect, no wonder they had an affair.
I agree. He had some good ones mixed in with the trash Colonel Parker made him do. Shame, really. True Grit, The Rainmaker, A Star is born were just some of the movies Parker made him miss out on.

Funny enough, west side story was yet another film he was up for that Parker ‘advised’ him to turn down.

Sounds like he will end up like David Fischer - The_Price_is_right
it was definitely a dumb decision by the habs to pick the guy considering not only all of the controversy surrounding him but also his request to literally not be picked by any NHL team because he felt he wasn't worthy, so now we can only hope he learns from all this and actually evolves to become a better person and hockey player, which would potentially be a nice "redemption story" lol...
that's because he wasn't playing, he was suspended and is now expected to join his team again on january 1st - Pat1993

It is stupid how he's being suspended for something he did in another league, in another country, which happened a year ago and has already been punished for.

oh yeah you're right, his return hasn't been made official yet, but it sounds like he's been trying to stack all the odds in his favor, for what it's worth:
“They run a pro-level organization in London as far as responsibilities for kids. The Hunters are really, really good, but they’re also taskmasters. That’s been good for Logan. He’s doing what needs to be done to hopefully get back playing for the London Knights in the OHL. That’s where he hopes to play, where he should play.”
Ramage was asked if he had examples of what Logan has been doing to work on himself.
“I think that kind of stuff will be talked about by Logan when the time is right.
“Maybe this seems like not a big deal, but he’s not permitted to attend school with his teammates and he still gets up every morning and picks up four of them and takes them to school. He drops them off and then he goes and studies virtually in an office. He does it without complaint because he’s a good teammate.

apparently he received a fine of 1600$ in Sweden, so they probably felt it wasn't sufficient because of the delicate nature of what he did and the prevalent cancel culture that we're in right now.

Well Branch does want to be seen as the leader of ushering in the progressive hockey ideology that only gets applause on Twitter and Reddit.
So it makes sense that he feels it is necessary to become an enforcement arm of excessive punishment when his crowd declares it necessary.
This leads me to believe that he was only allowed back into the OHL so Branch could punish further.

I get what you're saying but I'm not entirely sure what exactly would represent a proportionate/fair punishment vs an "excessive" one in this case... if you consider the girl's and her family's perspective, getting a 1600$ fine as the only consequence might feel like a weak slap on the wrist.
