Prime rib roast for me (five ribs). My absolute favourite. I also do a mean roast potato, edges hard enough to cut wood. Grilled asparagus and green beans as the veg.

I think I'd rather go to your place.

This is correct about Quinn: his mom, Ellen Weinberg Hughes, is Jewish.

Glad we found something to talk about, because we're going to have to wait a little longer for more NHL hockey. Games on Dec. 27 are now postponed, including Canucks/Kraken...

No Jews came to North America from Ireland?

I assumed our hard core hockey and Canucks fans would have known this about one of our highest profile players.

- boonerbuck

I have no idea. I don’t care what race or religion Hughes is.

Bingo!

Might be the most disgusting food ever. Can’t imagine it tasting good.

Never tried it . You have to be a bit or a lot crazy to eat that crap.

All this talk of fish has made me pull a salmon filet out of the freezer, while you guys are eating turkey, ham, and lasagna I'll be having salmon.
- A_SteamingLombardi

Yup

There are only two of us eating it but it is the same size as the turkey in Mr Beans Christmas. Ham sandwiches for the next two months .

All the Jewish talk had me reminiscing about my dad. His absolute favourite comedian was Jackie Mason. Every Christmas dad would pull out his collection of JM comedy albums and we would all sit around, listen, and laugh our asses off even though we knew the jokes.

I should try and find those albums…

I’m just about to leave for a wonderful 16hr night shift in Northern BC. So I’ll get to have a fantastic feast of homemade poutine and a punch of pineapple and as many energy drinks as my ticker can handle

We are having prime rib as well. Just got back from Albertsons where they had it on sale for a Christmas special.

Started with spinning Rush-Moving Pictures and kitchen prep. Where it goes from here is anyone's guess.

Nice we have a dinner reservation tonight going to brave the Keg and see if there $40 steaks are any good lol

Going through some Great White remaster right now very very good sound for a rock production on CD. Quite impressed with the fidelity actually. But for some reason I migrated to KISS Creatures of the Night and now to Animalize lol. Some decent tracks but alot of fluff. I'm going through my entire classical catalog as well into the Beethoven's up to Symphony 7. It's remarkable how classical music and heavy rock share so much common ground musically. Great stuff.

Tom Sawyer is one of the greatest tunes ever written.

See they have a blackened chicken on the menu now too interesting I do love a good blackened seasoning. But most likely will go with steak after all it is a beef house lol

Also an excellent choice . I usually get the wife to order the 20 ribeye and a lobster tail for herself and I have the blackened chicken . We eat about half of everything (mix and match ) and have the rest for lunch the following day. Don't miss out on your favorites that way.
