I'm not not sure what the league's threshold is, and if the teams involved have any say, but in the habs' case I really doubt they care about the number of actual NHLers in the lineup

yup, I agree it's getting ridiculous, especially for those who have season tickets, but it would seem that fans are still willing to go to the games despite the poopty circumstances... for the habs you'd think the attendance would've plummeted but it isn't the case at all, they're still among the highest in the league

you know why? because you can find excellent tickets for 20$ on the web. a chance to bring the kids for close to nothing. season tickets holder don't show up, they give them away.
