I usually ridicule excuses but it’s been a difficult time for two seasons with injuries and covid, but career numbers are still solid with loads of potential for such a young player. If we can wait for GMJB to stumble his way around for years then we should cut Pouty some slack and give him three years to get his game back.

Of course, but it’s best to be cautiously optimistic then to expect something fantastic. Seeing the team improve and be entertaining again is great. But I don’t want to start to think about playoffs yet to avoid disappointment. If it happens then I will be ecstatic.
