mentally-challenged refs handed this game to the lightning.
was great seeing Savard do his impression of Hedman. should have been game over right there. - PDO-Speedwagon
Stop it with this crap. Weak people blame refs. If your excuse for a loss is the refs you didn't play well enough to win and your character is too weak to overcome it so you look for somebody to blame other than those on the team that lost. Refereeing, good or bad, is part of the game, blaming a loss on it is weak

with 1 minute left there was no part of me that thought Montreal was going to win that game. absolutely none.
Great effort from the kids, really showed that there is plenty of promise in the system.
Toronto still gets things wrong....and the entire 'call on the ice' rationalization is stupid. Does 'call on the ice' matter when reviewing offsides..... Review the play, get the call correct. It is that simple....

i'll say this: the call was a joke. we all know it. there's only one player in the NHL who gets that call, and it's Gallagher. it's what it is and it won't change and there's nothing you can do about it. but the call had zero impact on the game. if these two games against Tampa have proven anything, it's that when Tampa needs a goal against Montreal they score a goal. if that goal counts, the complexion of the game is different but the outcome is the same.

the Habs have 99 problems and the refs are only one of them. But last night, the refs were a big one.
I'm old enough to have seen it once or twice. I'm wise enough to know I've rarely if ever seen a Habs fan say "the other team should have won but the refs gifted it to the Habs"
crazy how EVERY habs fan is blaming the refs. - mr.peanut
i'm not a Habs fan in general. just wanted to see the lightning get beat.
it's fashionable to blame the refs. some poop calls were made. they always are. teams don't win games because of the refs, but they can lose them. great teams overcome bad officiating and bad luck. struggling teams need every break they can get and a bad call can tip the scales. The Habs were icing an AHL roster. They were doing good just to hang in there with the Bolts. The disallowed goal was trash. the missed call in OT was trash. It is what it is.

I was at the game...the crowd was electric on that late goal from Perry....sad loss for a Habs team that really played well considering their lineup full of AHL guys...the young guys played well...Evans, Poehling,. Vedjemo Pinard all put in nice efforts....but damn Drouin is abysmal....he shies away from hits doesn't chase either....he needs to go....Kulak was brutal often, but then again he is being used in spots he doesnt belong in...Monty had a decent night in goal. The game was lost in OT on 2 very bad plays that happened right in front of me...Palat brutalized Kulak,. the cross check on Evans was a non call too....mugged in Tampa.... the fight for Wright is real. - Hockey Pucker

Was he also Man Mountain Rock? - Takemedrunkimhome
yes. i love how they would just dress people different and nobody was supposed to recognize who they were.
the wwf once brought terry funk out as chainsaw charlie. he debuted crashing out of a big wooden box and was swinging a chainsaw around and the whole time the crowd was chanting "TERRY! TERRY! TERRY!"
