His skating is the ugliest. It hurts me to watch him. It was a hell of a pass to Provy for the ot goal tho. - Dkos
stating the obvious, but that contract has the potential to be a killer.
admittedly a little revisionist history here, as I didnt think it was terrible when it was signed. not great, but thats typically the cost of signing one of the upper level UFAs. |

i've been told we are moving forward with coots whether we like it or not and moving on from g might not be the worst thing in the world for the team.
that said, I would like to hire Paul Maurice, buyout hayes, get a first back for risto (he's been good but he's not signed and we need a new gameplan), move forward with Atkinson, dump JVR, re-evaluate lindblom and konecny, say goodbye to yandle and braun ( i don't hate braun btw), use cap space to fill in the d holes or bring up some young guys or both.
and a new GM. |

This is what a buyout of Hayes looks like. Just a bad idea.

Wack job about everything outside hockey, but decent hockey insight.
I am not arguing with you. These things are opinions. But for what is worth, here is mine.
MJL gives the allusion of having good hockey sense. He is good at shooting down silly theories etc. But if you press him, insights turn to mush, after which it becomes the usual endless circuitous argumentation.
There used to be more guys here I could learn from. But if there was an argument, and I had only the information that MJL was arguing with another guy, and I had to choose whose side to take, I would choose the other guy if he was one of:
Bill, Tomahawk, Landros2, Buzzcut, BlackHand, Hello Its me 2050, MBFlyersFan, FlyersFan3260, and several others.
That's just me though. From my island.
- PT21
I could careless about MJL’s personal point of views. I think he has a pretty good grasp of the game of hockey. Most certainly better than “hello it’s me”…which I’m pretty sure has like 18 accounts. |

Would you not say that Seattle is executing a fairly deliberate plan and it has little to do with stubbornness? As soon as I started seeing the kind of owners they had, and other factors, I suggested even before the ED that they felt little pressure to be immediately contending/competitive, unlike Vegas. Everything that happened since then seems to bear me out.

(Yes, I dug this up. Yes, I am a loser. Bite me). - PT21
You are a loser, and also a racist piece of trash - your words:
"was referring to your perspective that you really could not blame those who are unvaccinated if they choose to stay so. They should be treated in the same way as those drive when drunk, or smoke cigarettes near hospital entrances, or do not immunize their kids for MMR, diptheria etc. "
49 out of every 100 African Americans are unvaccinated. You want them to be treated as criminals and second-class citizens.

Say what you want about the guy, but he's always looked to raise the level of discourse on here, especially when it comes to CBA and systems/tactics and evaluating a goal beyond simply who was around when it was scored.
Of course, he's not always right, nor is he always cordial, but then again, who on here is? |

Couturier put on IR week to week with an injury. I thought he was on the Covid list.
The farce continues. |

Re: Brown
I didn’t think last night was his best game but in the last 6 games during the current team point streak, Brown is 50.8% on faceoffs with 3 pts +1 on the 4th line and good on the PK. Not bad.

Is anyone else feeling a Sandstrom shutout tonight?
Also, with Couturier out for weeks now, will Allison finally get a chance to play some games? |

Can’t even keep track of all the nonsense with this franchise. What was the diagnosis of the elbow injury? |

Caught the first period, seemed like the heavily being outplayed continued watching the 9 minute YouTube recap. Not for nothing, first time I am using the YouTube app. They snuck in like 4 ads during the freaking video. We already deal with them at the beginning, stopping the video and having more is a little over the top. - ClaudeFather
I stick with YT in a browser that has ad-blocking. Firefox browser on my PCs with uBlock Origin adblocker add-on (extension); Brave browser on my phone with its built-in ad blocker.
I also have Brave on my PCs but I'm mostly using it to sync with the phone's installation of the browser, which is the best browser I've found so far for the Phone. But I'm not impressed with it on the PCs. Like all Chromium based browsers I've tried, it seems to be a memory hog.
Firefox is no lightweight either, but it does a great job of syncing across all of my platforms. You do need to make an account for syncing, whereas Brave uses a "sync code" (security token) that you have enter into all installations that you want to sync. I don't mind having another account. |

I have been flipping to different games on ESPN+ and I noticed that other teams get the pregame and/or postgame show. I am jealous. Why not the Flyer’s broadcast? Is it because of NBCS Philly?

He’s clearly been hurt for weeks. Instead of shutting him down they ran him out there as a shell of himself. This on the heels of the Hayes and Ellis debacles. It’s a struggle to come up with anything this franchise does well. |
