With Myers gone, Sanheim has to have the lowest hockey-IQ amongst the Flyers D. |

Fun to watch but wo Coots for a stretch it is going to be ugly. They need this kind of goal tending to stay in games. |

Meh, that's a good UnWin. Happy to get the point. Sandström was great. |

Well he failed to make Bills pregame write ups when listing the lines. For the most part he was on the left wing. This is kinda common knowledge, has been talked about in articles often and whether or not you think he played center was not the question. Life is just far too short… - Joe Nardone
So you're basing it on where he was listed in the pre game write ups rather than what he actually did in the games? It's not what I think was done. It's what was actually done on the ice.

Depends if opinion is predicated on watching games and using ones hockey IQ, experience and overall feel of the game. Also helps to see these players in person at least once in a while.
I will say this site has alotta guys (not thinking of anyone in particular) that start out a post with, “I did not see the game last night.” It’s totally cool if you did not see the game and want to chat about it still, but some will do that and then argue with you in circular fashion about a player because of an analytic that was completely irrelevant on that night.
I’m thinking, well I watched the game from my seats and sometimes even watched the replay and I gotta guy arguing with me about a player and the guy did not even watch the damn game. Why bother.. - Joe Nardone
Also depends on a person's ability to watch a game. (not thinking of anyone in particular) and be able to accurately asses what went on in the game. It's not an automatic that someone who watched the game, knows what went on with absolute thought. Some could watch the game 10 times from their seats and watch the replay on a continuous loop and still not know what went on.
A perfect example is the Giroux at center conversation. |

if Felix can secure the backup spot would be ideal as trade jones for a mid rd pick. Then save 1 million on the cap.
It is poop or get off the pot time for Ivan Fedotov and the Flyers. Need to get him over after the season. |

Drink plenty of hot tea. My go-to for colds/flu is Ti Kuan Yin oolong. It's well-named: for the Iron Goddess of Mercy. But any good black tea is good, oolong or not.

The fact the Flyers are putting an individual, Yandle, ahead of the team is a disgrace. They have zero ties to him.
Don't want to hear any nonsense about the players possibly being upset if he is taken out or it wont look good for the organization. He is past his expiration date. |

What example of this can I look at where the Flyers are putting Yandle ahead of the team?

Didn't see the game again last night, but have a funny little story to tell. I saw in the box score that the Flyers had a short handed goal against and without looking at any highlights I KNEW it must have been yet another Yandle gaffe......WA LA!!! Yes, I was correct in my assumption yet again. Please get this ingrate turd out of the lineup at once!! Must have been a good debut by the young guy in net! Flyers get great goalie play or they go belly up. This is why I don't go out of my way to watch the games. |

It is sad to see really. Any other player he would be in the press box 100%.

Went to bed after 2 periods last night, could not stand to try to stay awake and watch turnover, after turnover, after turnover. Finished watching the game this morning. Right now the Flyers are a bad team collecting points against other bad teams. I give the Flyers credit for trying hard and not giving up, but clearly they are not good, or even close to good. Case in point the Flyers had 2 PPs last night, the first PP yielded a short handed goal against and the 2nd 2 man-advantage generated 2 shots on goal and a lot of standing around. Giroux, for all the Flyers' records he is breaking, is a serious part of the problem right now; his skills have diminished considerably and he just does not want to shoot the puck. All in all, just another game that should demonstrate to Fletcher that he must be a major seller at the deadline. |

Disagree. The more they "win" the likelihood of him being a buyer increases.
Even if they tread water he will buy. I cant see him selling unless the bottom completely falls out or Captain Comfortable has short term memory loss and ask for a trade.

Does it even matter at his point? So you sit Yandle and you play Seeler and Connauton instead?? Come on, there are bigger issues on this team right now. They have no foot speed, no skill, no structure ... shall I continue? |

Yes it does matter. Who said you have to play those 2 over him?
Yes please continue.

Sandstrom was great. Looked very comfortable quickly. Jones was very good against the Kraken. The goaltending for the Flyers is tremendous. The team only got it together for maybe 30% in total here and there in each of these two games. Not going to cut it. I thought the Lindblom-Frost-TK line was the best forward group last night. So a good showing from the youth anyway.

That play in OT last night was just unacceptable. Giroux wins an o-zone draw cleanly back to Sanheim and he just puts the puck up the boards back to San Jose. I just don't understand how an offensive defenseman can possibly make a play like that. |
