Side note: Was never a big fan of the two Blaze Bayley Maiden albums (X-Factor and Virtual-X) but have been going through X-Factor lately and the music is actually quite good. The album was actually written for Dic*kenson before he left and there is some solid structure there. Check it out if you haven't. Pretty good.

Two hours late so far on Calgary to Frankfurt flight. The Russian Juniors team was in back, trying to smoke cigarettes, not wearing masks, not listening to attendants. Cops swarmed the plane. We all had to get off while they and their luggage were removed

Trading Pettersson now would not be a solid move. But Rutherford is known for snap deals when he has his sights set on a player. Just hope it's not a panic trade right now for a big push to the WC spot.

There was actually more that wanted him signed long term on this board. As Booner said he laughed at all the posters saying sign him 10 mil plus long term.

I doubt they trade him now and I would wait TBH. See how things look in 30 more games. The fact is though everyone is eyes wide open about his value to this team. This is his second year of disappointment in my eyes.

I was hoping Montreal did offer sheet him though. Those extra four first round picks would have been sweet. Looks like Mtl will get a top 2 pick this year.
