Yeah, they got one more point than they deserved thanks to Halak. Felt like a Travis Green type of game. Dominated at 5v5 through two periods, play better in the third and make it interesting with a hot goalie and the power play.

Understandable though, Kings were more fresh and a b2b is tough after an extended Christmas break.

Canucks move to 20th with that point, although there’s 4 teams behind them with better winning percentages.

The more I watch Petey the more I think what a waste of 7 mil.

Playoffs still a long shot, but in this weak division, they should be “in the race”

They’ve got a great chance, oilers trending down, ducks due to fall, golden knights just lost patches.
They should be fighting for that wildcard spot.

Maybe but the best winning percentage in their division and best goal differential say otherwise. Now with the games in Canada being cancelled, they go back on the road for another 4 games. Not an easy schedule Tampa, Florida, Carolina.
I still like our chances of making the playoffs.

My eye test on the standings says otherwise. Their record in past 10 also tells a different story.

Totally excusable game. Long beak and a back to back. Team was exhausted

He isn’t an NHL player at the moment and some of his defenders need to open their eyes

Points in 6 of the last 10 games, they’ve only played 11 games at home so far, the schedule has been very lopsided, almost the entire team and staff getting Covid,
#excuses
Despite missing almost 3 weeks of play, they still have the 3rd best winning percentage in the west, Markstrom still leads in shutouts, McJohnny better pts/game than any Canuck, Lucic playing like a young Looch, 8 goals, providing toughness, World Champion MVP with 18 goals, there’s the Tkachuk factor as well, they’re not without their warts that’s for sure but I still like our chances

Entire team looks like dog poop tonight, Halak is keeping them in this.

Dead legs on a back to back after all those Christmas beers

- Nucker101

Good to see it go to OT but you can tell winning 10/11 is tough on the ol' legs.
