Points in 6 of the last 10 games, they’ve only played 11 games at home so far, the schedule has been very lopsided, almost the entire team and staff getting Covid,
#excuses
Despite missing almost 3 weeks of play, they still have the 3rd best winning percentage in the west, Markstrom still leads in shutouts, McJohnny better pts/game than any Canuck, Lucic playing like a young Looch, 8 goals, providing toughness, World Champion MVP with 18 goals, there’s the Tkachuk factor as well, they’re not without their warts that’s for sure but I still like our chances

- K-man25

Well if the Flamers make the PO's there always the Johnny/Monny disappearing angle to look forward to. At Least Turtlechuk will hit those dirty areas for a few points lol

Hard to argue with that right now
- Nucker101

Even under Boudreau Petey will need top 6 minutes and PP1 to get back to his PPG average. Burying him on the 3rd line with Garland and Pods ain't gonna work long term.

He isn’t an NHL player at the moment and some of his defenders need to open their eyes

Off ice issues perhaps, or he's been paid and doesn't GAF. Loui 2.0

I can understand his disappointment but without a full blown bubble this tourney was doomed from the get go.

Just blame it on a wedding. Easier that way.

Gotta be honest here. I don't really care about who is doing what on the Flames right now. As long as they keep falling in the standings like they are.

I think the lack of revenue from gate sales and concessions had something to do with the cancellation. The rule of one positive case and the entire team forfeits is a bit heavy handed too. Not sure if that’s an Alberta rule or IIHF thing.

Why hold the tournament in the Alabama of Canada anyway?

We had staff slated to work close to 9 games here for the tourney. The IIHF did not have their sh!t together in any way shape or form. Contingency plans were a joke. 4 players test positive and they hit the panic button and shut er all down. But it's easier for the Trudeau show to blame a wedding in Red Deer, Alberta than actually study the details involved.

But they aren’t falling, you must have them confused with 3-7-0 Edmonton.

Monahan has been missing for 2 years, he won’t be a Flame much longer. He’ll be shipped out as cap relief, Treliving knows this. It’s not like he’s an old dinosaur like your man Holland.
McJohnny had a good playoffs last time the Flames made it, it’s a contract year, don’t underestimate him.
I’d worry more about how your Oilers will handle Chucky. He’ll be living rent free in Draiseitles head.
Enough about the Mighty Flames, this is Carols blog. Let’s talk Canucks!

Careful, fanboys may flip out. He is a pouty and entitled Smurf. Hasn’t hit the gym since he won the Calder (his Stanley cup). Elias is definitely the biggest issue with the team. Their “1C” is a 4th line PP specialist

I think you mean the Calder. Regardless of his skillset, if he's truly an issue Rutherford will most certainly ship him out.

Pouty won the Norris... no wonder he is getting paid to be a star player, he already is breaking all the rules.

Don is overreacting, it's his schtick. It will change to Demko first bad game.

Don’s just getting a head start on new year festivities. Can’t blame him, I’ve already had a large mojito for lunch. So good I think I’ll have another.
