I thought the league had established a certain quota of NHLers that teams needed to have on their roster in order to continue playing but it definitely seems that there is no such thing lol

oh I agree, I wouldn't blame the organization for wanting to play the games anyway and better their chances for a draft lottery win, I just find it sorta gives the league a bad look, it's as though they simply didn't have any standards in terms of having a decent product on the ice
