I'd definitely wait on trading Petey. He led the best PP in the League only a couple of seasons back. Miller was good Horvat was good, Boeser not so much on the PP but Petey was world class when he was on his game.

Correct. You mentioned narratives and Petey is just the current whipping boy all will be good. We've had trade Miller, Horvat, Brock, Hughes and even Demko in the past few seasons in some conversations now is not the time to trade Pettersson. Hughes bounced back so will Pettersson. Patience lol

He's not technically and neither is Pettersson.

Problem is only one spot is open in the top 6 and Pearson has seized the opportunity good on him. Long term however Petey will need top 6 minutes and PP1 time to succeed. Calling him out in the bottom 6 ain't gonna work although it did for Hogs and Pods lol. Once Brock is back full time will be interesting to see how Boudreau handles it if the team hit's a little diversity in the schedule and injuries.
