This is an incredible hire by the Sabres. Matt is an extremely talented and knowledgeable data engineer and programmer. He's also just a great dude. The Sabres analytics department is really shaping up as one of the best in the league.

I would love to know specific decisions driven by the analytics department so they can be evaluated by the fan base just like everyone else.

I still want a piece of whoever decided Didi Gregorius wasn't needed shortstop, Glaber Torres didn't have to play 2nd base, and Santon couldn't play the field.

Not saying I dont like the hire. I just want to know what the department is providing.

I believe Psysk is one? Not sure though.
