Super slick. that kid is good.
Remember people questioning if he was going to be as good as advertised because he was playing in the AJHA? |

I absolutely do. It was a fair concern but clearly a mistake. I’m not a scouting hero like Mini, but I thought he was going to be a huge star in his draft year |

I didn’t know how well he’d do but he was my pick all the way. Was high on him very early. He never got close to being ours thx to the Sens. |

Hyman - Good for sure. Type of player they needed but contract too long
Hopkins- PP specialist really. 5x5 he is Rat Ballz
Yamamoto- Rat Ballz outside of the last couple of games. Went 8 games without a shot!
Pullmyharvey- Good improvement for him this year.
Bouchard-Their best Dman
Nurse- Regression City this year and costing huge bucks next year onwards.
Barrie- Same as Hopkins
Keith- Absolute waste of cash when you consider other holes on that team.
Russell- Well he blocks shots as always.
They lived off the PP for the first half of the season. It dried up and so did they. - carsonagenic
Patience young Padawan...Patience.

Tanev picking the corner nicely. 😁 - Load Management
Thought the Flames would play better vs an injured/covid strapped team like FLA but man FLA plays good Hockey. A good reality dose for the Flamers is K-Man still holding hope? lol...

Riddle me this: Myers was here last few years and gargled balls. OEL comes in and now Myers is propping him up?! The logic is stunning. - neem55

I think you're just having a hard time believing that a dman of Myers' age can change up his game, but that's exactly what's happened. I don't think he's carried OEL though, but he's been the better of the two in my opinion, but like I said, I like judging dmen based on how they defend off of the rush and how well they create rush chances with zone exits and breakout passes, there's where Myers has been good. His in-zone defensive play is still inconsistent, I can agree with you there.
Last year Myers rated very low in allowing opposing forwards to just walk across the blueline with the puck which was a much bigger issue since it's been shown that allowing controlled zone entries leads to goals. Forcing dump-ins or even turnovers is how you win games, especially with the game being so speed-based these days. Your goalie has a better chance at saving a shot generated from the cycle compared to off the rush.
I think I read somewhere that something like 55-60% of goals are scored within the first 7 seconds of zone time. Basically goalies are much better against the cycle than they are against the rush - Nucker101

Canucks have given up 15 goals in the last 9 games. I am fine with the back end and over all play. - VANTEL
I'd like a left side upgrade on Hunt to be picky. |

I believe that if you can skate, play with some sort of hockey sense and kick the crap out of your competition as a junior according to your league that it shouldn't be a concern. Cale Makar beat that league up for 2 straight years. |

The Golden Knights are considering the possibility of acquiring the rights to Ryan Kesler from the Ducks, notes David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period. Kesler, who hasn’t played since 2019, carries a $6.875MM cap hit that is LTIR-eligible. In theory, if Vegas moved out enough salary to bring Kesler in and remain in cap compliance with their current cap situation, he could then be added to their LTIR pool, enabling them to eventually activate Jack Eichel. There’s precedent for teams acquiring injured players to boost their LTIR pool – Toronto (David Clarkson) and Tampa Bay (Brent Seabrook) – are recent examples and with Max Pacioretty and Alec Martinez both expected to return before the end of the regular season, Vegas may need to get creative to make the cap work when their players are healthy. That's just an absolute cluster (frank) of a situation. Someone will be sitting out till the first day of the playoffs to be cap compliant. |

100%. Brad Hunt is a local and supposedly a nice guy, but he isn't an NHL regular and really not even a temporary replacement defencemen. |

I have come up with one option that might work.
Nick Holden from Ottawa. Plays PK in Ottawa. Played in two playoffs for Vegas last couple years. Physical 42 hits in 23 games but also has 20 giveaways in 23 games.
Ottawa gives back Van's 3rd round pick with Holden for Tucker Poolman.

This is just a comedy of errors.
What is Koskinen doing.
McDavid slow, weak on forecheck.
Nurse just out for a casual skate, Bouchard was doing who knows what, Hyman puck watching.
After that maybe Tippett should be fired. |

Last I checked he still leads the NHL in shutouts. We’ll see a bounce back in Tampa! |
