I think most want to see him do well. I'm not sure he's a Rutherford guy though? Now certainly isn't the time to trade him. Anything can happen with a gunslinger Prez though, he has put the bottom 6 on notice.

Didn’t realize they’re in rough shape. They stomped the Lightning last week (9 goals I think) so assumed they were flying. They dumped Montreal on the weekend but that doesn’t say much because who doesn’t these days.

I agree. Was thinking the same. Let’s see what this kid can do over the next two seasons before giving up on him. I want to believe his decline is injury related and is fixable. Hope to god it ain’t attitude.

If the worst he is going to be is a half a ppg player that isn't a liability on the defensive end. I'd take that still. Paid accordingly on his next contract though.

Half a PPG player in the NHL this year who have played 20 plus game is 161st. 378 forwards have played 20 plus games this year. That's still scoring at a top 6 rate.

I was worried that game cause Vas is my goalie and I thought my week was (frank)ed cause of one game. Instead it got (frank)ed because he is out on covid protocol.

Yeah Florida fans had to endure some horrific hockey over the years but man do they look good now. Young, skilled, and aggressive.

Just looking at the correlation between team penalty minutes leaders and winning percentage. I was surprised to see that many of the best teams in the league also are the most penalized. Only three out of the top ten teams in penalty minutes have less than 40 points. Got to be aggressive to be successful I guess.

Elliotte Friedman on the #Canucks GM search : Lots of attention around Patrik Allvin, keep an eye on Mellanby as well. Alvin sounds like he has the inside track.

I don't know how often Donnie and Dhali are right considering they were leading the charge of why Green wasn't given an extension but this is different.

Mellanby was on my short list about 2 years ago and Alvin was on my short list after Benning was fired this year.

I can't say that I'd prefer one over the other.

But unfortunately they are both staying long term. Holland signed 5 year 25 mill deal. They won’t get rid of him with 3.5 years left.

A minor blip no time for panic. Goaltending is an issue that hopefully will be addressed.

I don't think its attitude - he's shown to have that intensity + skill. I think injuty + took it for granted a little / thought it would be easier.....it's not. QH relfected and new he had to be better and he's been amazing this year. EP40 needs to do the same (hoping sooner, but starting next year - or the real questions come)

At what point is it not the leaders on the office and it's the guys on the ice? How many coaches and GM's are they going to go through? A guy at 12.5M might be the wrong structure to build a winning team. Wait till nurse is making north of 9 next year too.....
