I mean, yeah, he's been outplayed by Myers. Myers has been good this season, I like looking at neutral zone stats and he's rated well there. He's been good at stopping opponents from entering the zone with possession and good at finding forwards with passes that have lead to scoring chances and zone entries with possession.

If he keeps this up, his contract is actually fine

He has given up more high danger shots than any other defenseman on the team. I do think he has played better under boudreau particularly but in general this year. But you are right im biased, the dude annoys the (frank) out me with his turnovers and has simce he got here

This just makes me enjoy watching him play more. Shot suppression is more of a team stat btw. Has more to do with systems and team positioning than Myers.

Hmm. Maybe, just maybe, it has to do with the amount of D zone starts he gets. Maybe the fact he kills penalties as well.
