Most likely be their 3C where they need help and be there to take D zone faceoffs. Could see him playing some wing depending on how kakko and Lafreniere do the 2nd half but there need is 3C...the Giroux of today is nowhere near the player Zibanejad is and they are not breaking up Panarin and Strome on the 2nd line. The G of tdy is not better then Strome either
- hfc355

Giroux 0.91 points per game
Zibanejad 0.88 points per game

Who plays on the better team with better offensive players? Giroux is without question better than Strome. Giroux would be putting up some strong numbers on that team. You're probably right on center since Giroux plays LW and they have Kreider and Panarin.

If I was the Rangers and they acquired Giroux. I'd be playing Panarin with Zibanajad and Giroux at center with Kreider.

Strome has the best playmaking LW in hockey on his flank. Giroux has...well, yeah. Yet their #s are almost identical.

Rangers are ripe for an early post-season exit. I am skeptical that Mike Z is a post-season 1C, and I don't think much of Strome either. Their D is very young. Lets see them meet a team like Tampa in the post-season, or the Canes.

Strome has never put up 20 goals or broken the 60 point mark in his entire career. At 34 playing on a mediocre team, Giroux was on pace for a 70 point season at 34.

Literally just want to cancel my account.

in order to do so, you must speak with someone. you simply cannot cancel. they want their opportunity to speak with you to "gather information and try to keep you", which is borderline criminal as it is.

then they simply solve that problem by making no one available to speak with. therefore, you simply cannot cancel.

It's not a good idea to talk about the past for 1 player and the pace for another. Apples and oranges. Do pace versus pace or past versus past.

Strome was on pace for about a 70 pt or more season for each of the last 3 (incl this one). Statistically, their paces are pretty similar (advantage Strome).

For the past, ofc, advantage Giroux.

Did you just figure this out? This poop has been going on for ever. There is tons of stuff on the Interwebs about it.

Another pet peeve: they never advertise their contracts for existing customers. Only new ones. To get current options, you have to call.

How the hell they get away with it is beyond me.

It absolutely is a good idea when a comment was made that Strome is better than the Giroux of today. What Strome has put up in his career illustrates that Strome has not been better than Giroux at any point of his career in comparison. You missed the point.

to be fair, this is the first time i have ever tried to just full on cancel, rather than simply transfer (that part is still predictably easy as pie)

sickening.

Strome last 3 seasons: 134 points in 156 games. Ppg: 0.86 ppg

Giroux last 3 seasons: 125 points in 155 games: Ppg 0.80

The pace argument is not in your favor.

I also know you will keep arguing.

No one said Strome of today is better then the Giroux of today. What I said was Zibanejad of today is better then the Giroux of today and that they would never break up the Panarin/Strome combo...Strome of tdy is every bit as good as the G of today...Career wise G is better then both but G is on the downisde and Zibanejad and Strome are in their primes..PS>>>>last 3 yrs G has played 155 games 125points...Strome 156 games 144 points...Strome of today is every bit as good as the G of today

I do that every 2 years. I threaten to cancel, claiming I am cutting the cord. New vastly discounted deal will follow like clockwork.

Just stick to your guns and earmark 2 hours of your time.

I just resent the fact I have to. In that socialist quagmire that is France, my close friend pays $40 a month for phone + Internet. I thought this was supposed to be the other way around.

see, but thats the rub. in a word and without sounding millenial or entitled, but No. Two hours of my time, thats (frank)ing absurd. I would honestly pay more at a certain point to not be bothered. but thats not even an option with this. i'm not looking to haggle but simply end relations. it should be extremely binary.

its not even about the money. just leave me the (frank) alone with this kind of stuff haha (them not you)

You mean the Tampa they just beat in back to back games one without Panarin??....They are young and their D is very young so likely dont go far in the playoffs but they have a Vezina goalie....a Norris Dman and Panarin so who knows at this point

Here is what you said. Now I get you said the reverse but that's how I took it. I disagree with you. Giroux is significantly better than Strome.

They swept the regular season against the Canes in 19-20. And were swept in the 1st round in playoffs.

Regular season is a vastly different animal.

Also, Tampa was without Kucherov too,

A few years back, my bill was over 300. I called to negotiate. I figured I would cancel and put it my fiancee's name, as she would be considered a new customer and get the "new customer" deal. Same package, half the price. When I called customer service, I couldnt get through and set an appointment for a rep to call me. We went through with the change and I got a call two weeks later from CS asking how they could help me

Totally agree..Tampa is a beast come playoffs and as we all know will have Kucherov back....Think Tampa is beatable this year but wouldnt expect it to be by the inexperienced Rangers

thats exactly what they are prompting me to do. set an appointment for a call back with someone to discuss my cancelation when they become available. and people say lawyers are the crooks.

Disagree. Let's speculate and switch teams. If Strome is on the Flyers playing in the situation that Giroux is in? Does he put up the same points? I don't think so. If Giroux is on the Rangers and playing with their offensive support and fire power. What does he put up? Strome has never been as good as Giroux. Not now or at any time.
