Yes this is the main thing, just was done with Lafferty, if Nylander becomes a useful 4th liner/13th forward then it's a plus.

Ill take the guy who has some kind of offensive upside all day. Nylander might not get it all together, but I'm all for seeing if they can rebuild him in the minors this year and have him contribute next year.

Could be a player like Sprong, a late bloomer who isn't ever going to live up to top 6 billing but can score some points playing in the bottom six.

Because Macarons are delicious and it's fun to experiment. I make cannolis all the time.

I see DeSmith is starting tonight. It'll be interesting to see who the backup is. My guess is Domingue, that way Sullivan has the option of pulling DeSmith immediately after a bad goal.

We really can't make a splash with the assets we have. The best move we can make is a Zucker hockey trade and upgrading the backup goalie. Honestly the Lafferty/Nylander trade could be decent for us or it could be nothing, but Lafferty was nothing so it doesn't matter.

Seems like DeSmith has tendency lately to wonder too far out of the crease to challenge shooters and can't get back. On some of these rebounds the net is wide open.
