Not what I am saying at all. Im saying that some COVID related hospitalizations are preventable. For instanced a vaccinated person should have a better chance at fighting the virus than someone not vaccinated. How many people in the hospital that are unvaccinated would still be there if vaccinated? In Canada from Nov 2020 to Dec 2021 39,967 people out of 49,727 people hospitalized were unvaccinated. Thats 80%.

Not just that, but the age profile of the unvaccinated is substantially lower, and they are in general healthier than the vaccinated.

1. Get vaccinated, and get your boosters in time. This will lower the odds of transmission substantially, the odds of severe disease even more so.

2. Understand that our life has changed forever. It is possible that we will have to implement a rolling sequence of lockdowns when situations warrant, but these will likely decrease in frequency as time goes on.

3. Accept that the face masks are here to stay, and will likely be ubiquitous as it is in East Asia.

4. Stop whining.

Hilarious, the vaccine didn't even come rolling out until Dec 2020. But you give a stat from a month before vaccines were readily available.

anyway lets get back to hockey talk

Do you think the NY Rangers have the speed and skill to be a contender?
- MJL

They have the elite goaltending....their PK and PP are both in the top tier of the NHL...3 key ingredients to be a serious contender. Though their Defense is solid they are young and they rely on 2 lines although they are very good. Think the young forwards need to contribute more for them to be serious contenders. Have to get some goals from the 3rd line. Much tougher team to play against this year with Goodrow..Reaves and Hunt. They have the speed and skill but playoffs require heart and grit also

This is one reason why there needs to be a civil war.

My brother was vaccinated, and now he is dead, so don't talk to me about vaccinated versus unvaccinated. In the end, this has nothing to do with hockey so I have nothing else to say about this.

BTW, I suggest you look up the word "vaccine" and ask yourself if this conversation even makes sense.

Huh?

Just out of curiosity, did you pass high school? How many attempts did it take?

The kind of people who say stuff like that are dying off anyway.

They are well on their way. They have a very good goalie, a Norris candidate defenseman and elite talent up front. And based on the numbers I just posted, the Rangers score more goals (99) than their xGF (93). So yes, they have the speed and skill to be a contender, and they happen to be in 1st place in the toughest division in hockey which further supports their current status.

I'm fully vaccinated, have the 3rd dose. There is no reason to put any restrictions on me any more.

Rangers are a legit cup contender right now today. Probably all because of luck if you ask CLiff.

Sanheim was the defender on the play. He is not a slow footed player and he was not beaten because of his lack of speed. With each post you dig a deeper hole.
Drafting Patrick had nothing to do with having their heads in the 90's. Another ridiculous statement. You're getting emotional and it's showing.

The Rangers are 30th in the league in xGF%. The Flyers have an xGF/60 of 2.35, ranked 20th. The Rangers xGF/60 is 2.15, ranked 28th in the league.

I am indeed deeply sorry for your sibling loss.

But the fact that after almost 2 years of non-stop coverage you cannot fathom the way this disease spreads, and how vaccines work, is extraordinarily embarrassing. Indeed, based on your comments, you do not even know how the yearly flu vaccine works.
