Can you list all the hospitals that are chaotic along with the correct amount of people who are in hospital beds due to Covid. I’d also would like to know how many are obese, heavy smokers, heart issues etc. also vaccinated and unvaccinated. Thanks in advance Panda.

No, Pho Pho. I can. But I won't.

But I can provide you one right here in PA:

i mean im a heck of a lot closer to Gen Z than most on here and I can tell you that so far this new deal is clunky at best and brazenly insulting to fans at worst.

admittedly i dont place a ton into gen X and gen that. its all largely arbitrary lines. there are pros and cons of every age bracket.

i have zero problem realizing a lot of the younger people fit the crappy stereotype people portray to an absolute t, while simultaneously realizing just how crappy the deck is stacked against them either way from decisions they played no part in and will likely not benefit from.

Why is the Flyers game still on tomorrow night? Any other team and this game would be postponed, but Gary Buttman is licking his chops(if not his own arse) at the prospects of watching his Pens roundhouse the Flyers C squad.

Christiana Care for one. My wife has been living with this for 2 years now. I can’t share specifics on a public forum but the surges devastate all the departments. She constantly ( as recently as today) has therapists and PAs pulled from her floor to deal with Covid admissions. Last week there were TWO Respiratory therapists available. TWO. It’s a nightmare. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clueless.

Actually, about 49% of the deaths were under 75. The CDC doesn't even compile figures by under age 80.

Latest figures, as of 12/29/2021.

https://data.cdc.gov/widg...hcku?mobile_redirect=true

All the figures you provided are comically wrong, including chances of dying from car accident etc. I could correct you easily, but what's the point? If you were actually interested, you would have spent the 60 seconds to look them up.

SO, yeah, hockey.

- PT21

all i'm seeing there is the older you are the more likely you are to die of covid which makes sense because the older you are the more likely you are to die of any disease

Is this a promise that you will hold yourself to? Unlike your hope that you wouldn't be around that much.

Yes.

But the disease was never anywhere near as concentrated amongst the elderly and ailing as you often hear. Just look at the total # of infections, and subtract the ones in the 75-84 and 84+ age groups. You are left with about 50% deaths under the age of 75.

It is also truly surreal to hear protests about social distancing and masks not working. Look what it did to flu. In 2019-20, there were about 22,000+ confirmed flu deaths. You know how many died from flu in 20-21? 700. The flu mortality fell by 97%.

We get data from a health care organization called Lahey Health in MA. They just stopped all non-critical surgeries, they are so overwhelmed.

There are many hospitals in the UK unable to even provide cancer and cardiac care. I saw it today, cannot find the link now.

January is going to be pretty tough.

I have always been drawn to the twilight zone.

Hey, did you know that every single match in the NHL is fixed? The scores, who shoots, from where: all predetermined.

Reread what I posted. I also posted the xGF/60, which is just offense. The Flyers are ranked higher.
- MJL

I am looking at stats for all strengths. The Rangers are 14th in the league in goals for, the Flyers 24th. The Flyers have played only 1 less game than the Rangers. The Flyers are 23th in xGF, the Rangers are 16th. The Flyers' differential between xGF and GF is 1.1, scoring 1 less goal than they are expected to. The Rangers differential is 5.4, scoring 5 goals more than they are expected to. There is no way the Flyers have better offensive numbers than the Rangers.

Looking at stats for all strengths is improper. The Flyers have a better xGF/60 than the Rangers do at 5 on 5. That's a fact. Kind of puts a fly in the ointment of your theory.

Those figures refer to Canada, which has far better health stats than US (longer, healthier lives, much lower obesity). Generally, in North America, everybody assumes you are using the US (CDC) figures unless otherwise stated. Are you Canadian?

90% of deaths over 80 is "pretty damn close" to 80% over 70?

There is another aspect of this. Most disease fatalities are heavily skewed towards later years and the impaired. How does it matter what age/conditions people who die are?

In Germany, during years of the smallpox epidemics (late 1800s), mandatory vaccination and quarantine was discouraged by many in power/influence, because it was believed that Jews were inherently inferior and had weaker bodies and would be culled.

Should we emulate them?
