When was Ethan Keppen was sent back to play juniors?

Was he not playing with Abbotsford?

I just seen he scored a goal for Flint tonight...

I mean he was falling all over the place during his first two seasons too, people act like that’s a new thing and the reason why he’s struggling.

There’s clearly other reasons why he’s struggling.

- Nucker101

Not a new thing just needs to work on better balance & centre of gravity. Goes down too often & out the play too easily.

His struggles to me are obvious. Too slow making decisions & doesn’t shoot enough. His passing sucks & mishandles the puck far too often. Rarely is he dangerous & he isn’t finding angles on the D.

No doubt.

To me he's simply not moving his feet enough, with and without the puck. Doesn't matter how well you can deke, if you're barely moving then you're easy to check. He's simply playing too slow and unsure.

Oilers lose

Meh...pretty minor. McDavid back soon players are coming off the injury list. Trust Holland and Tippett to right the ship.

Once Boudreau puts Petey in a position to succeed it should come back much in the way it did with Boeser. Patience.

Once Petey deserves to be put in a position to succeed, you mean. Its tough, give him ice time to work it out, but not deserving of ice time and top line because of his effort level. We are not pulling an Oilers "just because you are a star player make your own 3 minute shift and play 28 minutes a night" routine here.

It’s the Tippett method. Give your stars more and more ice while demoralizing the rest of the team.

Add Boudreau to Petey's excuse list or is that still under "coach"?

See where it goes I guess. Who are we trading Petey for today? Ekblad??

Whoa whoa whoa there champ I've been all over Green the past season for his brick walling and line combos/juggling. Didn't mind his work in the PO run but it was clear he hit a rut and his time was up as the players showed. Benning is what he was. Ran his course. Drafted very well and put the base of a good core here which I'm sure the next GM will take credit for a' la' Brian Burke lol. All good in the hood man.
