What a farce. Why would anyone pay to watch this game. You’d never see 9 regulars out with injury, but the show must go on. It will prob end 7 or 8 to 1.
Agreed. Comcast agrees. They have started offloading games form their flagship broadcast channel, NBC Sports Philadelphia. Probably because it isn't worth it for them to pay anyone in the studio to work Flyers games, ratings must be plummeting.
Wonder if Snider is turning over in his grave. The sports complex used to be a bustling success, now it is slowly turning into a second rate attraction. How hard he worked to get a broadcast studio set up inside what is now the Wells Fargo Center. Now they're selling games to Disney and Hulu. How does this help streaming customers ? You either have to be extorted by Comcast cable or pay for each streaming channel a la cart. That is the way you ensure continued interest in a team that jumped the shark 10 years ago. By asking ppl to pay more. That's good business.
I wonder why Snider thought the Flyers would be in good hands with Comcast? It's been a disaster so far.

The state of the team has crashed since that man died. I really wish that Comcast would sell the team to someone who cares.

I never dreamt a day would arrive when in this town, a prime rivalry is not on broadcast, not on Cable. but on a pay channel.
And I never dreamt that this would happen without a peep from Philadelphians. No protesting articles, no outcry. Nobody knows, nobody cares.
