Heponiemi looked good tonight, while Vatrano is working his way to the front of the line for the dog house. Tippett’s effort without the puck will keep him in lineup over Frankie, for right now at least.

That boneheaded late 3rd period o-zone penalty in a tie game would’ve had his ass stapled to Q’s bench....
Vatrano has been far less noticeable all around than Tippett has. Yeah, Frankie has scored a goal recently, but Tippett is doing more of the things without the puck that will keep him in there despite not scoring points. That’s why he was rewarded with PP time last night. Not trying to bash Frankie, he just really hasn’t been any better than Tippett lately.

Monday afternoon; Thornton will be out when Bennett & Reinhart return. One of Tippett and Vatrano will be scratched, too. Frankie plays LW, Tippett plays RW. Flip a coin as to who sits, imo
If Marchment is also back, they may both sit.
