Not our best effort last 2 periods. Hajek played like he was up all last night with a "bunny"... |

All 3 lines played pretty good I think. The Jones post and Stone kick hurt. I dont know what happened to Hajek through the course of the game but that was a stinker. |

Hajek isn’t an nhl defenseman. He’s an 8th dman at best. They should roll out jones and nils but nemeth and jones will be what happens. Chytl needs a change of scenery |

Howden has more goals, and points than Chytil and Gauthier.
Close to Chytil and Gauthier combined.
Howden 10 pts
Chytil 7 pts
Gauthier 5 pts
Let that sink in |

Last night was a Stinker, just move on
Big issue is the 3rd line. They bring nothing game in and game out. Something has to be done soon |

Well, they don't get to play against the New York Rangers and Howden does!

Quit whining … you guys get to come to Anaheim on Sat and blast my Ducks who will be rolling out an AHL squad.
So it’ll be good after Sat night.. you guys will get well.
Oh and I’ll have to be there with 8K of my closest Ranger fans also.. |

As Gallant said, i thought they played well the first 25 minutes and then Vegas went to another level. Their breakout is amazing and the team’s failure to get the puck deep at times and turnovers killed New York. |

Big question is how many more players are in protocol today? Just odd Igor went on 30 mins before the game started. Did he travel to the arena with the team? |

WAY too many turnovers leading to way too many odd man rushes against. It was like we were trying to help them breakout in the 3rd. |

The Rangers have two players that can actually skate through the neutral zone with puck. Panarin and Fox. Thats an issue

I think the issue is more that other players are trying it.
The coaches are asking them to chip it in deep and get after it. Doing that and being hard on the opposing dmen allows for opportunities to carry it in. But, if we are one dimensional about it, a junior league team can make adjustments. |

I just dont know what started to happen halfway though the game. Its not like they dont know Vegas will counter attack.
But i guess it doesnt help when you have 1 line thats completely useless. |

I don't know why it's so hard to scratch Chtyill for a game. Otherwise whats the point of having Morgan Baron on the taxi squad and not getting regular minutes in the AHL |

The team will have stinkers like this during the season but all teams do. This covid season will definitely play games with the players head. It would be nice if the third line converts but it will come, hopefully. |

You know if mark stone is on the rangers no way that goal counts
With that said, if that counts how do more players not do that. He literally directed the puck into the net with his foot.I’d be passing the puck into their skates all the time |

I think its a dumb rule anyway. I have no problem with players scoring with their skates. Just get rid of the rule altogether. As long as a player isn't picking up the puck with their hands and throwing it into the net I have no issue with any goals of body parts. |

remember when Nigel Dawes scored on his back off his hand while sliding into the net against brodeur?
also, am I the only one that didn't think that was a distinct kicking motion? |

wow now thats a throwback name
Yea it was close. He turned his foot to redirect it but I honestly couldn't tell if he actually "kicked" at it |
