The stars aligned for the Isles that season just to squeeze past a few teams into the playoffs. That Dubie poke check sealed the deal. Of course, they then lost in 5 games in the first round to the Sabres.
I remember that day very vividly. It was Easter and our whole family was at a park. My dad had his laptop and we were listening to the game on it. Many beers were cracked open in celebration.

Interesting, I like the idea of Wahlstrom on Nelson’s wing. I’ll add though Bailey has had some success with Nelson in the past and has done crap with Barzal. Not really sure what trotz sees with him on the first line?

Two guys that might be able to carry the poopbag season he's having?
I hope Wahlstrom continues to play a solid game and eventually bumps Bailey out of that spot.
It was also a skate from earlier in the week, so I'd read more into the lines from today or tomorrow's practice. If they're the same then that's what we're probably going with. If they skate tomorrow morning and they're different then I assume that's what we'll see tomorrow night.

Yeah sure but let’s see if we even wind up playing tomorrow night.
I would rather see Wally with Barzy as Bars is more of a play making center then Nelson. I think Wally would get more opts as Barzal would generate space.
Maybe we can get Wade Dubielewicz out of retirement.
