I understand that unvaxxed are at more danger. I'm talking about the spread of it and a lot of the vaxxed people are spreading far faster because of their false security. I have not seen a building full of 18k 100% unvaxxed people anywhere in Canada. People have their passports and are allowed to do this... and sit inches from others with no masks on.... then they log onto social media and shame people for being the problem. It's ridiculous...

People trusted the experts/government who got it wrong. "You can go back to normal because you are vaxxed". That back fired huge. Yet it's common practice to shame people who question. The only way science moves forward is by questioning.

One thing I will say is we need a new perspective for a PM in Canada. Would totally support a female in that position with the right platform. Really now? If memory serves me, you weren't even born yet when Trudeau Sr was in office. I was. Also, this "freedom of choice" the Conservatives love to espouse these days are as a direct result of Trudeaus efforts to pass the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in the Constitution Act of 1982. Great memories.

Read a study on the common masks recently. A dry mask proved to make finer moisture and not stopping a lot. A moist mask stopped the particles but they forced their way out the sides because they couldn't pass through the material easy enough...

People will argue all day how much the masks help providing false security and putting others in danger even though some protection is better than none. The anti maskers are not alone in their ignorance. People need to behave like the masks give minimal protection... that is the best argument.

Like I said it might come to that. Move to Quebec champ if you love JT so much...

What experts are you referring too? This is 100% on our governments. Theyhave completely disregarded public health officials despite what the party line is. Having friends in public health with tied to formulating a reopening plan, I can sadly say that any recommendations they had made were flat out ignored.

You also know that that fir the most part, guidelines were adequate for Delta. Omicron is a different beast and I feel like our governments have thrown their hands in the air and said - you're on your own.

If the unvaccinated were vaccinated then we are having a different conversation. But nobody cares anymore vaxxed or unvaxxed. That's a big issue. The government allowed this to happen, not the "experts".

Not all moisture coming out of mouths is fine though is it? Im honestly pretty happy when some mouth breather sneezes and would not have covered it up but now has a mask. Or a similar unhygenic person washes or sanitizes their hands, just an overall win imo.

I agree. That's why I say they provide some help. With that being said, clouds of finer particles create a cloud around the area and take longer to settle. No one is going to inhale someone else's goober. That's more of a touch your face situation after hands being contaminated. The cloud of fine particles is far more dangerous.
