Thx bro I like a good chat...double standards not so much. Narratives are shifting so folks are concerned with where things are heading I get it. But at the same time people need to realize there are multiple facets to 'sides' of any given debate/argument. Society has us separating. Friends and family aren't speaking. We are headed for a bad way if it's not corrected. Not sure what it's going to take. Many opinions.

Fair enough. Let's just focus on the fact the Vaxxed are spreading the variants. Even if it's because of the government provided false security. People are still flashing their passport and getting on planes, going to pubs, grouping up etc... I see people talking about where they are flying, what establishments they just checked out etc on social media including here... then they move onto the finger pointing.

I don't get involved much in the Covid arguments but there is just too much hypocritical crap going on. I'm vaccinated but I still can't help but see the majority of vaxxed people pointing fingers when large portions of the group are being as careless, or more careless than the other group. So many people that are vaxxed are grouping up, not wearing masks and spreading the virus faster than ever. It's ripping through the vaxxed population and the false security that the experts provided is mostly responsible for their carelessness. All you have to do is pay attention and you should be able to see it. Look at hockey games that were just being played in Canada... tens of thousands of people crowded into arenas and you can see most of them not wearing masks because like in BC, they had their passport. The myth that they are not spreading it is totally debunked. Yet they have their passport and are hanging out in pubs etc... meanwhile it's all other people's fault.
I watched the same thing pre Vax with people wearing masks. Groups of them ignoring social distancing because they are wearing masks. We now know although masks help, they are not providing nowhere near the protection people assumed. They are guilty as well.... but it's other people's fault.
People need to own their poop and practice what they preach or shut the (frank) up. - boonerbuck
Omicron should be ripping through the population. We're mostly double vaccinated and there are more people with 3 shots than there are with none. It's actually the virus helping us out since we're now better prepared for it and it's milder
If you have a medical condition that won't allow vaccination then you'll have to stay home / take extra precautions. We're not going to stay shut in forever, we still have to live. The chance at covid zero ended a long time ago. It's going to cycle through the population likely forever.
Most vaccinated people are now mostly getting slightly ill. With an 85% vaccination rate among eligible people, the unvaxxed still account for the majority of hospitalizations and a large majority of ICU cases. It's not as much about the number of cases as it is the rate of hospitalization and death.

Disagree on the mask issue a bit as I think it is total virtue-signalling they are pretty much useless but they sure make people feel and look 'safe' lol.
