Agree most Urfa’s get too much $ and term. Benning wasn’t special in that, Treliving has had his share of blunders as well.
No not the Tanev signing, that’s a good one. Overpaying for Markstrom was worth it because it disrupted the Canucks dressing room and took a solid player away from a rival.

Good points of course. Holland should have moved on from Smith in the off season but like you said cap space was at a premium. It was a gamble. Didn't pay off with Smith's injury they banked very much he would be as good as last year and Smith was good last season...can't fault him for that. Injuries hit every club at some point the only good thing here is they are slumping now and not 4 weeks before the end of season. Lot's of time to right the ship.
