Makes no sense to me that Kane can still complete those beautiful passes, yet cannot hit the net. Maybe you ex- or current players could explain how an injury would affect one and not the other.

Kane never had a rocket. And it seemed to me that his one timer was more accurate than when he took his time. There's a lot more than the physical act of making a pass, there's the vision of needed to know how, when, and where to put the puck. In my era Mikita had the best vision, anticipation, and puck sense. But Kane is the best I have ever seen working the puck, all respects to 99 and others.
