Had the season continued maybe. They played Montreal and got by strictly due to Hart and then lost in the real first round. They looked nothing like the team that finished the regular season but that’s not their fault

Do you recall when Vigneault was hired? How he was talking about how it's his way or the high way? How if you didn't play the right way, you weren't going to play? It was the talk on this forum. That's not what this teams top issues are. They need a modern day NHL front office and coaching staff. They need to focus on drafting and developing talent and fix how they develop talent. They need to focus on transition play and attacking. The need to become a much better team. When they do that, then culture and accountability will come with it and leadership will be much more effective.

No on Toch...no on anyone with any tie in to Flyers past. Things arent going to change though unless you get a President of hockey operations like J Davidson who ownership leaves alone...clear out Clarke..Homer and all the country club ex Flyers and someone who owner let's run the show

That's the exact opposite of what they should do. That's exactly a big part of why this team is where it's at. Good teams and GM's don't do that. They don't make moves just to make them. They don't say they have to make moves and then make the best moves they can find. That is the kiss of death for a team. Good GM's are patient and they find and make the right moves. The moment Holmgren and Scott had that press conference and announced to the hockey world that they were desperate and were going to have an "action bias". They were done.

Not surprised in the least if true. Yeo is an ext of the prior coaching staff. Just makes you laugh at this organization in every way. Sends such a strong message to young players.
